Hollie Goodwin Allen

Hollie Goodwin Allen is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Consultant for Wake County since February 2022. Previously, Hollie held the position of Internal Communications Manager at Wake Technical Community College from August 2019 to February 2022 and worked as a Corporate Communications Specialist at Raleigh-Durham International Airport from September 2014 to August 2019. In this role, responsibilities included managing the budget for the Communications, Government and Community Affairs Department, contributing to internal communications, overseeing social media, organizing employee events, and participating in crisis communications. Earlier in the career, Hollie served as an Information & Communication Specialist at NCDOT from June 2006 to September 2014. Hollie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
