Lisa Jones

Lisa Jones, CISSP, currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Wake County since March 2016. With extensive experience in IT security, Lisa previously held various positions at Elster from February 1999 to March 2016, including Group Manager for Global IT Security, where responsibilities encompassed the management of Elster’s Infrastructure and Information Security program. Additional roles at Elster included Regional Infrastructure Manager and Supervisor of Network Security and User Support, focusing on security policy development and network management. Early in her career, Lisa worked as a Network Engineer at both DataNet, Inc. and NetCom Information Systems, providing network and user support services. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management of Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an Associate of Science in Internet Technologies from Wake Technical Community College.
