Tim Maloney

Tim Maloney possesses extensive experience in urban planning and development, currently serving as the Director of Wake County Planning, Development & Inspections since August 1994. Previously, Tim held the roles of Deputy Director of Community Services and Project Manager for Facilities Design & Construction, as well as Project Manager for Parks & Recreation during the same period. Prior to his tenure at Wake County, Tim was a Landscape Architect at McNeely Associates, PA from February 1991 to July 1993. Tim holds a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
