Brandon Gilliland

Brandon Gilliland is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in higher education financial management. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance & Administration at Wake Forest University since January 2024, Brandon previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at the University of Miami, where responsibilities included overseeing the institution's financial resources with enterprise revenues totaling $5 billion. Prior to these roles, Brandon held various positions at Wake Forest University, including Vice President for Finance, and at University of North Carolina at Charlotte as University Controller. Additional experiences include Dean of Finance and Controller at Indian River State College, Senior Auditor at EY, Chief Budget Officer at Oklahoma State University, and Buyer at the City of Tulsa. Brandon holds an MBA in Accounting and Business/Management from The University of Tulsa and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern State University.
