Megan Chaffey

Megan Chaffey, ASA, currently serves as an Actuarial Analyst at Wakely Consulting Group, having joined the firm in July 2023. Previously, Megan gained valuable experience as an Actuarial Intern at Cigna, where responsibilities included building excel templates for liability validation and leveraging GGY AXIS reports to ensure accuracy. Other notable internships took place at Oliver Wyman, where guidance for model governance was developed, and at Travelers, focusing on competitor rate filing research. Additionally, Megan worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, instructing students in statistics using R and Python. An earlier role as a Research Assistant involved designing a data collection process related to self-driving cars. Megan Chaffey holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science and Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
