Andres Rodriguez-Roman has had a long and varied career in quality engineering and operational excellence consulting. Andres began their career in 2003 as a Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer for Cordis. In 2007, they joined Covidien as an Operational Excellence Leader, OPEX Black Belt, and Supplier Management Quality Engineer. In 2012, they moved to Xtreme 6-Sigma Consulting as an Operational Excellence Consultant. In 2014, they joined ASERE, Inc. as a Validation Specialist and then moved to Xtreme 6-Sigma Consulting in 2015 in the same role. In 2018, they worked for both Business Excellence Consulting, Inc. (PR and Spain Divisions) and Baxter International Inc. as a Validation Specialist and Principal Quality Engineer, respectively. Andres is currently employed by Walden Biosciences as a Quality Consultant.
Andres Rodriguez-Roman obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez between 1992 and 1999. In 2002, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from LifeScan. In 2010, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from Covidien (Medtronic Minimally Invasive Therapies Group).
