Chris Walton

Chris Walton has extensive experience in housing management, currently serving as Housing Manager at Wales & West Housing since January 2003. In this role, Chris leads a team of 14 staff responsible for managing 2,500 properties in Cardiff and Caerphilly, with a strong background in both operational and strategic housing management, including the use of Systems Thinking. Additionally, Chris was a Board Member and Company Secretary at Abbeyfield Wales Society from January 2020 to June 2023. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in History and Movement Studies from St Mary’s University, Twickenham, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing from Cardiff University.
