Preeti Gupte

Preeti Gupte is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology risk and compliance, currently serving as Senior Director and Global Head at Walgreens Boots Alliance since 2010. In this role, Preeti has developed and executed robust security governance frameworks and serves as a trusted advisor to executives on IT risk and compliance initiatives. Previously, Preeti held positions including Manager of Global Internal Audit, where oversight of SOX and operational audits provided critical insights for strategic enhancements, and Senior Consultant for Information Security Risk at HSBC, where automation of user access reviews improved compliance. Preeti began a career at Bank of America as a Change Manager, recognized for contributions to the Enterprise Risk & Stability team during the acquisition of LaSalle Bank, and successfully reduced external audit expenses through standardized procedures. Preeti holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
