Denis Potapov

Denis Potapov has a diverse work experience in finance-related roles. Denis started their career as a Professional Accountant at CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation in 2016 and then moved to DXC Technology, where they worked as a Professional Accountant, Senior Professional Accountant - General Ledger, and Finance Business Partner from 2017 to 2019. During their time at DXC Technology, they were responsible for financial forecasting, analysis, and support, as well as leading meetings and working on special projects. In 2019, Denis joined thyssenkrupp Elevator as a Financial Controller, where they worked on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, created forecasts and budgets, provided analyses for management decisions, and played a key role in the SAP implementation project. Within thyssenkrupp Elevator, they also took on the role of Branch Controller / Deputy CFO from 2021 to 2022. Most recently, in 2022, Denis became the Chief Financial Officer at Walk the Room.

Denis Potapov completed their Bachelor's degree in finance at Prague University of Economics and Business from 2011 to 2014. Denis then pursued a Master's degree in international business at the same university from 2014 to 2016. In 2018, Denis began their ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) certification, and is currently in the process of becoming Part-Qualified. Additionally, in April 2014, Denis obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council.
