Nick Marshall-McCormack's work experience includes roles such as Head of Communications, Marketing and Brand at Walker Corporation, where they focus on government relations and public relations for large-scale infrastructure projects. Nick also worked as the Director of Communications to the Minister for Sport, Multiculturalism, Seniors and Veterans at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (NSW). Nick has a background in broadcasting, having worked as a Broadcaster at BBC and a Reporter and Correspondent at Seven Network. Nick also has experience in production, having worked as an Executive Producer at Marmack Robold Productions and a Promotions Producer at ESPN. Additionally, they have worked as a News Producer at Al Jazeera English, a Video Journalist for Discovery Channel, and a Freelance Producer at GMTV. Nick took a career break to be the primary carer for their son.
Nick Marshall-McCormack completed a Diploma in Journalism from Macleay College in 1999-2000. Nick studied subjects such as broadcast journalism, media law and ethics, shorthand, and publishing. Prior to that, they obtained a Higher School Certificate from SHORE in 1995-1998, focusing on subjects such as Advanced Modern History, Advanced English, Advanced Economics, and Mathematics.
