Tom Melody

Tom Melody is a highly experienced real estate professional currently serving as Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop, where Tom co-founded the Houston office and focuses on assisting developer and owner clients with their capital needs. Prior experience includes a role as Co-head and Executive Managing Director at JLL, where Tom specialized in building investor relationships and overseeing significant loan originations and equity placements. Tom's career began at LJ Melody/CBRE, where Tom held the position of Vice Chairman and contributed to establishing one of the largest real estate investment banking firms in the nation. Tom holds a BBA in Business/Managerial Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, an MS in Real Estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
