Melanie Patterson, CRSP, is a seasoned professional in health and safety management, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Health and Safety Excellence at Walker Industries since March 2013. In this role, Melanie develops, implements, and oversees the corporate Health and Safety Program, focusing on fostering a safe work environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors within the Walker Environmental Group. Previous positions include Health and Safety Manager - Environmental at both Walker Industries Holdings Limited and Health and Safety Business Partner - Environmental at Walker Industries. Prior to these roles, Melanie worked as a Quality Manager/H&S Coordinator at ASI Group - iDM from April 1998 to February 2013. Educationally, Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Brock University and a Post-Diploma in Environmental Management and Assessment from the Canadian Environmental Research and Training Institute (CERTI).
