Lucas Barreda Frank

Lucas Barreda Frank is an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning, data analytics, and research. Currently working at Wallapop since August 2022, Lucas designs end-to-end solutions encompassing exploratory data analysis, ETL processes, and monitoring frameworks. Previously, Lucas served as a Fraud Data Scientist at dLocal, optimizing machine learning models, and held roles in various organizations including a mentor and evaluator at Acámica, and a data scientist and analyst at Naranja X, where analytical solutions for fraud prediction were deployed. Lucas's career also includes experience in social media data analysis at Tribal Worldwide and research fellowship focusing on agricultural risk management at the Centro de Investigaciones en Métodos Cuantitativos Aplicados a la Economía y la Gestión. Lucas holds a degree in Actuarial Economics from the University of Buenos Aires, completed in 2018.
