Rani Sahota

Rani is a lecturer in ICT, Business and Administration, and also works with community learners. She has been a lecturer for over 20 years and also has experience working in retail, travel and other industries.

Rani believes that FE colleges play a crucial role in ensuring young people and adults are work ready, with the skills and qualifications that businesses need and is passionate in her belief that colleges must raise standards and attainment for all learners. Rani has a particular interest in supporting the wellbeing of staff and in ensuring that teaching and learning are effective. She looks forward to contributing to the work of Corporation in these areas.

In her spare time, Rani enjoys fitness activities, travelling, DIY, gardening and spending time with her family.

Rani was appointed as the Academic Staff Governor in December 2021.
