Alexandra Botti is a seasoned producer and educator with extensive experience in media and the arts. Currently, Botti serves as the National Elections and Politics Producer for NPR's 1A and as a Producer for Slate Magazine, both roles starting in October 2024. Previously, Botti held positions at Axios as a Senior Producer and Supervising Producer, managing the daily news podcast Axios Today, and at WNYC Radio as a Senior Producer for The Takeaway. Botti's background includes producing for The Diane Rehm Show at WAMU 88.5 and teaching adult ballet classes at Ballet with Botti since 2020. Educational qualifications include a BA from Smith College and a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University, supplemented by study at Université Paris-Sorbonne.
