Mike Kidd is an experienced audio engineer with a diverse background in roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Lead Audio Engineer for the national talk show 1A at WAMU 88.5 since February 2020, Mike is responsible for editing and mixing audio clips, operating the audio console for live shows, and managing remote guest codecs. Previous experience includes engineering for local and national podcasts, as well as production roles at Production Craft and WKAR at Michigan State University, where skills in live sound engineering and post-production were developed. Mike holds a Master of Arts in Media and Information Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Information from Michigan State University. Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud and Axia Consoles further enhances Mike's technical proficiency in audio engineering.
