Raphaël Pelgé

Raphaël Pelgé is an experienced research and development engineer specializing in robotic control systems at Wandercraft since 2015. Key responsibilities include controlling a leg exoskeleton, enhancing stability and robustness during movement, calibration, inverse dynamics, and kinematic modeling. Additional tasks involve testing and validating the product with patients, as well as coordinating participation in the Cybathlon 2020 and GIC 2021 competitions. Prior to this role, Raphaël contributed to the mechanical design of the exoskeleton, focusing on CAD, functional dimensioning, material studies, and manufacturing processes. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Advanced Systems and Robotics from Sorbonne Université and a degree from Arts et Métiers ParisTech. Early career experience includes internships at Wandercraft and ArcelorMittal, focusing on exoskeleton foot contact modeling and solar panel cleaning systems, respectively.
