In October 2017 Sir Stephen decided to take a year’s leave of absence from the business. Robbie will represent him during this time. Robbie has been attending Board meetings since his appointment in 2011.
Robbie studied Arts and Science at Auckland University majoring in Economics and Geography. He has a long history with The Warehouse, beginning his post-university working career in the Merchandise Team as a Trainee Buyer, Assistant Buyer and eventually as Buyer, working with suppliers from around the world to bring desirable and affordable products to The Warehouse customers.
Robbie is a Trustee of The Tindall Foundation and a Director of K One W One, an investment company focused on supporting early-stage New Zealand technology companies.Other directorships include Franklin Smith Limited and Foundation Services Limited.
