Vanesse Strydom has extensive experience in supply chain management and logistics. Vanesse is currently working as a Supply Chain Network Chapter Lead at The Warehouse Group since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at The Kraft Heinz Company from 2013 to 2021, where they held the roles of Material and Warehouse Manager and APAC Shipping LEAD. From 2009 to 2013, they were an Export Logistics Manager at Heinz Wattie's. Vanesse also has experience as an Outbound Manager at British American Tobacco / 4PL Globogistics from 2006 to 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Product Logistics Manager at L'Oréal in 2001, as well as in various roles at Plessey from 1996 to 2001, including Import and Export Manager, Production & Logistics Manager, Logistics Coordinator, and Buyer. Vanesse started their career as a Buyer & Logistics Coordinator at K.E.P. Engineering (Pty) Ltd in 1995.
Vanesse Strydom obtained a Diploma in Strategic Logistics Management from Damelin in 1999. In the same year, they also received a Certification in Freight Management from Freight Training. In 2000, Vanesse obtained a Certification in INCO Terms from Freight Management, as well as a Certification in Exports into Africa from Freight Training. Additionally, in 1998, they received a Certification in Business Finance from The International Development & Change Service Institute.
