Pawel Ptaszynski has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Pawel started their career at AGF Ubezpieczenia S.A. as a Specialist in the Commercial Department, where they worked from 1992 to 1995. Pawel then joined TUiR PARTNER S.A. as the Head of the Claims Handling Department from 1996 to 2000. Pawel also worked at Garda Life S.A. as the Head of the Claims Department in 1999 and at Warta 24 Plus as a Board Member and the Head of the Motor Claims Department from 2010 to 2012.
At Warta, Pawel held various positions including Head of the Retail Claims Handling Department from 2000 to 2009, Head of the Claims Policy Department from 2009 to 2010, Head of the Motor Claims Department from 2010 to 2013, and most recently as the Head of the Foreign Claims Center since 2014. In this role, they managed a team of 20 people dedicated to handling cross border motor claims, coordinating with foreign insurers and claims handling providers. Pawel also handled claims in Poland on behalf of foreign insurers caused by foreigners.
Pawel was also a member of the Motor Insurance Committee at the Polish Insurance Chamber from 2009 to 2013.
Pawel Ptaszynski obtained a Master's degree in civil and canon law from the Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie between 1986 and 1991.
