Mika Koivisto

Mika Koivisto has extensive experience in the finance and control sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Finance & Control for Energy Storage & Optimization at Wärtsilä since January 2009. Mika's career at Wärtsilä includes various leadership roles such as Managing Director for both Wärtsilä Panama S.A. and Wärtsilä Panama Services S.A., General Manager of Sales Support & Sales Development for the Americas, and Regional Business Controller for Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to joining Wärtsilä, Mika gained experience as a Civil Servant Trainee in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and as a Trade and Development Assistant at the Embassy of Finland in Indonesia. Mika holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Economics from the Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku and has completed additional studies at the University of Macau.
