Tom Marcais

Tom Marcais is a seasoned technology integration specialist with extensive experience in academic settings. Currently serving as a Senior Technology Integration Specialist at Washington and Lee University since May 2015, Tom focuses on supporting the sciences through effective technology use for faculty and staff. Prior roles include Academic Technology Trainer & Consultant at Sweet Briar College, where responsibilities encompassed training, workshops, and course management system administration. Tom also managed a computer store and provided technical support in previous positions at Lynchburg College and other institutions, demonstrating a strong background in both software/hardware support and network troubleshooting. Tom holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mathematics and Musical Composition from the University of Lynchburg.
