Steve Kaufman

Stephen Kaufman currently serves as the Director of Ticket Operations for the Washington Capitals, a position held since September 2006. In this role, responsibilities include managing data processing and distribution of $3 million in group ticket sales, overseeing a team of two staff members, and executing daily transaction reconciliations. Stephen also manages ticket processing for events such as the 2011 Winter Classic and acts as a liaison between box office staff and Monumental Sports Directors. Prior to this, Stephen served as Merchandise Manager/Account Executive for the Ft. Myers Miracle, focusing on sponsorship development and account management for season and group tickets. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the State University of New York Cortland, completed in 2003. Notably, Stephen received the 2011 Monumental Sports Hustle Award for dedication in Ticket Operations.
