Crystal Shen has extensive experience in pediatric care and public health. Currently serving as a Community Provider Executive Committee Charter Member and Urgent Care Pediatrician at Seattle Children's since June 2014, Crystal also holds roles as a Lead Pediatrician at Public Health – Seattle & King County and as a founding Steering Committee Member of Washington Breathes, a statewide tobacco and vaping prevention coalition. Since November 2020, Crystal has served as a District 8 Representative and Chair of the Section on Early Career Physicians for the American Academy of Pediatrics. Educational qualifications include an MD from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, complemented by a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
