Islamiat Ego-Osuala, MD, is an accomplished breast radiologist currently working at Washington Radiology since January 2020. Additionally, Islamiat founded The Minority Breast Report in June 2020, further contributing to the field of breast radiology. Prior experience includes a radiologist position at Progressive Radiology from July 2017 to December 2019 and a fellowship in breast imaging at NYU Langone Medical Center from July 2012 to June 2017, where Islamiat also served as a radiology resident physician. The medical training began with a residency at MedStar Harbor Hospital from June 2011 to June 2012, preceded by earning an MD in Medicine from Howard University (2007 - 2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowie State University (2002 - 2005).
