Kayla Sullivan

Kayla Sullivan is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Project Intern focused on diversity, inclusion, and equity in the English Department at Washington University in St. Louis since August 2021. Concurrently, Kayla is a PhD student and Intern at Action St. Louis, working on voter engagement initiatives. Kayla has been honored as a Gilman International Scholar, allowing for a six-month study abroad in Cape Town, South Africa. Additional experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Teagle Program at Washington University, participating as an International Committee Member for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and taking on various leadership roles at DePauw University, including Student Vice President of Academic Life. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in English Language and Literature from Washington University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and English Language and Literature from DePauw University.
