Matthew Godfrey

Matthew Godfrey, CPA, currently serves as Senior Tax Manager at Wastequip since March 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew accumulated extensive experience at EY over nearly a decade, holding positions such as Tax Manager, Tax Senior, and Staff Assurance. During time at EY, Matthew specialized in auditing both public and non-public clients in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors, working in a collaborative environment and conducting audits on balance sheet and income statement accounts as well as internal controls. Matthew holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from The University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution.
