Joanne Green

Joanne Green is an experienced professional in advocacy and policy, currently serving as the Global Advocacy Team Co-Leader at Tearfund since March 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing various sub-teams focused on policy, UK campaigns, and global campaigns. Previously, Joanne was the Head of Public Policy at CAFOD from August 2008 to April 2014, leading a team of 12-14 members and formulating public policy aligned with Biblical Theology and Catholic Social Teaching. Joanne has played a key role in the waste and plastics policy as a Senior Policy Advisor at Tearfund, influencing corporate and government practices to reduce plastic pollution and support waste picker human rights. Educationally, Joanne holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Reading.
