Stuart Bird is an experienced supply chain professional currently serving as the Head Of Supply Chain at Watercare Services Limited since February 2011, overseeing a team of 15 and managing various aspects of procurement, sourcing, and supplier relationships. Previously, Stuart held roles including Procurement Manager at Watercare Services, Chair of both the New Zealand Procurement Excellence Forum and the Local Government Strategic Procurement Group, and Procurement Consultant for Veolia Water Guam LLC. With a strong background in regional and senior purchasing management across Veolia Water entities in South East Asia and the UK, Stuart has successfully developed procurement strategies, negotiated contracts, and implemented supply chain management approaches. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from Otago University and an Advanced Diploma in Purchasing & Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply in the UK.
