Suresh Mudliar

Suresh Mudliar is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in water resource management and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Principal Planning Engineer - Water at Watercare Services Limited since November 2016, Suresh focuses on advancing approved capital projects through feasibility phases, including options analysis and concept design. Previously, from March 2006 to May 2016, Suresh held the position of Water Asset Manager at Waimakariri District Council, where responsibilities included managing operations, maintenance, budgeting, and ensuring water quality. Suresh's earlier experience as a Senior Water Engineer at the Ministry of Works in Fiji involved overseeing water and wastewater capital works across four districts and providing technical guidance on operations and maintenance. Suresh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources from The University of Auckland and has earned diplomas in Civil Engineering from the Fiji Institute of Technology.
