Davy Vandenbussche currently serves as Legal Director Investments at Waterland Private Equity, having joined in December 2022. Prior to this role, Davy was with Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick from December 2015 to November 2022, where responsibilities included providing legal advice on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, and general corporate law as a Senior Associate in the Corporate & Finance Practice Group. Davy's earlier experience includes a position as Junior Associate at Eversheds, focusing on company commercial law and M&A transactions. Davy also completed summer internships at Stibbe in tax practice and Deloitte Belgium in tax consultancy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business Law from Tilburg University and further advanced degrees from Ghent University in Tax, Corporate, and Finance Law. Davy initiated a partnership for pro bono legal coaching and assistance for startups between Imec.istart and Liedekerke.
