Wendy McMillan

Wendy McMillan currently serves as a Partner at Waterland Private Equity, having joined the firm in January 2024. Prior to this role, Wendy was the Sector CEO for Safety at Halma plc from February 2018 to January 2024, where full accountability included overseeing a £640m safety sector comprising 17 technology companies focused on sustainability. Additional experience includes positions as a Non-Executive Director at TT Electronics plc, Global Commercial Finance Director at Dyson, and Managing Director for Smart Metering & Machine to Machine at Arqiva. Wendy also founded WhoToAsk.com, which won the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award for Europe, and has held various strategic and leadership roles at BT, Sappi Limited, and Bain & Company. Wendy's academic credentials feature an M.Eng. from the University of Oxford, an MBA from INSEAD, and completion of the Global Leadership 2020 Executive Programme at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
