Ohm Patel is a skilled software engineer currently working with the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group as part of the Autonomy Team, focusing on developing autonomous features for aerial vehicles since January 2024. Previously, Ohm gained experience as a software engineer intern at Savormetrics and served as a web developer and computer science tutor at Option E Tutoring, where a website was crafted, and students were educated in computer science. Leadership skills were demonstrated while mentoring award-winning students as a Chapter Executive for DECA Inc. and guiding new aviators as a Flight Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Ohm Patel is pursuing dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo and in Business Administration from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, following a high school diploma from Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute.

Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group
The University of Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG) is a student design team at the University of Waterloo competing in the Unmanned Systems Canada Student UAS Competition. We are a passionate group of students focused on innovating the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle industry. We take pride in building everything ourselves, from the autopilot and computer vision software, to the custom designed ZeroPilot board that we use on our aircraft.
