Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group
Taim Al-Dabbagh is a Mechatronics Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, with extensive experience in electrical engineering and embedded systems. Currently serving as an Electrical Team Member at Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group, Taim designs schematics and PCBs for drone power modules while managing simulations and developing flight control software. Previous roles include Hardware/Firmware Developer at Teledyne DALSA, where Taim designed PCBs for camera sensor testing and simulated circuits, and Automation Designer at Radian Robotics, focusing on HMI programming and PLC development. Taim's internship at Level Home Inc. and experiences at Surfclean Inc. and ARC Engineering Inc. further reflect a solid foundation in electronics and project execution.

The University of Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG) is a student design team at the University of Waterloo competing in the Unmanned Systems Canada Student UAS Competition. We are a passionate group of students focused on innovating the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle industry. We take pride in building everything ourselves, from the autopilot and computer vision software, to the custom designed ZeroPilot board that we use on our aircraft.
