Ed Madlock is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and community support. Currently serving as a Special Education Specialist at Waterloo Community School District since August 2022, Ed has also held the position of CEO at EMpower Athletics since January 2010. Additional roles include Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of Mid-America and Official for IHSAA/IGHSAU, both since 2010. Ed previously worked as a Student Support Coordinator and Youth Counselor, showcasing a strong commitment to youth development. Ed's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Arts in Education and Public Policy from Ashford University.
