Ian Schwartz

Ian Schwartz currently serves as the Manager of Co-op Curriculum and Student Preparation at Wilfrid Laurier University, a position held since February 2013 that involves planning and delivering curriculum for Co-op students. In a previous role as Curriculum Coordinator within the Department of Co-operative Education, Ian designed and instructed the Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course, catering to nearly 800 students annually. Additional experience includes academic advising for the Dean of Arts Office and program coordination aimed at supporting high school students transitioning to post-secondary education. Ian is also an Occasional Teacher with the Waterloo Region District School Board and has served as a Referee Supervisor for Alliance Hockey since 2023. Ian's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Education from Brock University.
