Sam Poland

Sam Poland currently serves as a Senior Electronics Design Engineer at Waters Corporation, beginning in December 2022. Prior experience includes roles at the UK Atomic Energy Authority as an Electronic Design Engineer and Graduate Electrical Design Engineer from September 2021 to January 2023, with contributions to the 2024 JET Decommissioning project involving upgrades to remote handling systems. Additional internships at the UK Atomic Energy Authority involved designing autonomous testing rigs, pressure monitoring systems, and high voltage conditioning cubicles for JET and MAST-U projects. Sam Poland holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Manchester, obtained in 2021.
