Wei Rao

Wei Rao is a Principal Applications Chemist at Waters Corporation, where responsibilities include providing demo support for DESI MS imaging and ambient MS projects in the EU region. Prior to this role, Wei served as a Senior Applications Specialist for the Asian Pacific Region based in Shanghai, focusing on mass spectrometry imaging and ambient MS. Academic experience includes a position as a Research Associate at the University of Oklahoma under Prof. Zhibo Yang and another as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Nottingham, specializing in synthetic surfaces for stem cell pluripotency under Prof. David Barrett. Wei holds a PhD in Proteomics from the University of Leeds and dual degrees in Genetics (BA and MA) from the University of Cambridge.
