Julia Ford

Julia Ford has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Julia is currently working at Watershed, a software startup focused on helping companies reduce their carbon footprint. In their role as US Growth, they are responsible for assisting companies in implementing a world-class climate program to measure their carbon impact.

Prior to joining Watershed, Julia worked at Axiom where they held multiple roles. As an Account Executive, Mid-Market & SMB, they were responsible for managing client accounts. Julia also worked as a Senior Analyst and Analyst, both in the Business Development department.

Julia also has experience in the non-profit sector. Julia worked as a 211 Resource Navigator at United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania, aiding individuals in accessing resources. Additionally, they served as a One Campaign for Michigan Fellow at the Michigan Democratic Party.

In terms of education, Julia worked at the University of Michigan as an Econ 485 Grader, where they graded assignments for an economics course. Julia also worked as a Research Assistant at the School of Education.

Julia has gained valuable experience through internships as well. Julia was a Research Intern at ELA - Equipo Latinoamericano de Justicia y Género and a Legal Intern at the Washtenaw County Office of Public Defender. Julia also interned at the U.S. House of Representatives and CITY OF ASYLUM PITTSBURGH.

Lastly, Julia has prior experience in the food service industry, working as a Server at Aladdins Eatery. Overall, their work experience showcases their versatility, dedication, and ability to adapt to different industries and roles.

Julia Ford attended Mt Lebanon Senior High School from 2012 to 2016. Julia then enrolled at the University of Michigan from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Julia also completed minors in Political Science and Spanish during their time at the university. In 2018, Julia obtained a certification in "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera.
