Lorenzo Montesi

Lorenzo Montesi is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various high-profile companies. Currently serving as the Head of Finance at Watershed since February 2024, Lorenzo previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Cockroach Labs from June 2021 to January 2024. At Cohesity, Lorenzo progressed through multiple leadership roles from October 2015 to June 2021, culminating as SVP of Finance while also overseeing Finance, Accounting, Pricing, and Legal as a member of the executive team. Prior to that, Lorenzo had significant roles at VMware, RSA, EMC, and The Boston Consulting Group, focusing on sales operations, corporate strategy, and organizational efficiency. Lorenzo holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, a PhD in Physics from Scuola Normale Superiore, and a Laurea and Licenza in Physics from Università di Pisa and Scuola Normale Superiore, respectively.
