Peter Sharp has a diverse work experience in the field of sports science and conditioning. Peter is currently the Academy head of performance at Watford Football Club since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the Football Association of Wales as a Senior men sport scientist and U21s Sport scientist from March 2021 to the present. Peter also served as a U19 sport scientist from April 2014 to April 2017 at the same organization. Additionally, Peter worked at Aston Villa Football Club as an Academy senior sport scientist from February 2017 to September 2021. Furthermore, they held the position of Head of Academy Sport Science / Strength & Conditoning at Watford Football Club from July 2012 to January 2017, and as an Academy Conditioning Coach from January 2010 to May 2012. Prior to that, Peter was an Academy Sport Science/Strength & Conditioning coach at Norwich City FC Regional Development Programme from June 2009 to June 2010.
Peter Sharp's education history begins with their time at The Windsor Boys School, where they attended from 1999 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Bsc (HONS) in Exercise Health & Sports Coaching Studies at Oxford Brookes University, completing their degree from 2004 to 2008. Later on, they obtained an MSc in Strength & Conditioning from St Marys, between 2010 and 2013.
