Ofer Ein Bar

Ofer Ein Bar is a seasoned professional in the banking and finance industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Head of Financial Institutions at WAVE BL since February 2021. Ofer is also a mentor in the ITFA Martin Ashurst Trade Finance Mentoring Scheme, contributing expertise to facilitate the growth of others in the field. Previously, Ofer held the role of Head of Digital Banking Development for Corporate Division at Bank Hapoalim, focusing on the digital transformation of banking services. Ofer's extensive experience at HSBC included leading the Payments and Cash Management division, where success led to receiving Europe's "Quest of Excellence" award, as well as acting as a Relationship Manager for corporate banking clients. Ofer holds an M.B.A. from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, a Bachelor's in Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has studied Criminology at Bar-Ilan University.
