Joseph Were

Joseph Were has extensive experience in sales and operations management within the telecommunications and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Agent Operations Territory Lead at Wave Mobile Money since November 2021, Joseph has previously held various roles at Airtel Uganda from May 2015, where responsibilities included Airtel Money Trade Executive in the central business district. Joseph also worked as the Regional Sales Manager at both MTN Uganda and Village Power, overseeing regional sales operations and human resource objectives. Earlier experience includes serving as Area Sales Manager at Greenlight Planet, Inc. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Islamic University in Uganda, obtained between 2009 and 2012.
