Brian Kulpa currently serves as a Planner at Imagine Solutions since January 2024 and as a Principal Architect at Waves AE since September 2023. Additionally, Brian has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University at Buffalo since November 2021 and Supervisor for the Town of Amherst, NY, since January 2018. Previous roles include Associate Planner at Clark Patterson Lee from April 2007 to December 2023, and Mayor, as well as Trustee and Deputy Mayor for the Village of Williamsville from June 2007 to December 2017. Brian was the President of the Association of Erie County Governments from October 2013 to January 2015 and served as Programs Director for WNY APA from 2009 to June 2010. Earlier career experience includes Junior Architect at Kideney Architects from October 2002 to April 2007, and Shop Manager at the University at Buffalo from September 2000 to May 2003. Brian holds multiple degrees from the University at Buffalo, including a Masters in Architecture and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning, as well as a Bachelor’s in Architecture.
