Saket Kaushik, Ph.D, CISSP has worked at various companies in the field of information security and management. Saket currently serves as the Director of Security (MSS) at WaveStrong, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President, Identity and Access Management at AIG, and as the Assistant Vice President Information Security at Moody's Corporation. Saket has also worked as a Senior Consultant at Oracle and as an Oracle IDM Developer at QSSI. Additionally, they have held positions as a Graduate Lecturer and Adjunct Professor at George Mason University. Saket'sresearch interests include the application of formal methods in distributed systems, particularly flexible control over email systems through separation of policies and mechanisms, as well as new avenues in semantic web.
Saket Kaushik, Ph.D, CISSP attended New Era Public School from 1982 to 1995 and obtained a high school degree. From 1993 to 1995, they attended Vidyamandir but didn't obtain a degree. Saket earned a BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 1995 to 1999. Subsequently, they attended George Mason University from 1999 to 2007 and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science. In addition to their degrees, Saket Kaushik also obtained a certification as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium, Inc., (ISC)². The exact year of obtaining the certification is unknown.
