Alex Blenheim has a diverse work experience. Alex started their career as a Chemical Engineering Intern at Lehigh University in 2011. Then, in 2012, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Campbell Soup Company. After that, they joined Campbell Soup Company as a Mechanical Systems Engineer - Global Engineering, where they designed and retrofit custom filling equipment and managed new equipment projects. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Senior Process Engineer - R&D at the same company, where they worked until 2019. Currently, they are working as an Operations Engineer: Equipment Testing Lead at Wawa, Inc.

Wawa's namesake is a Native American word for the Canada Goose in flight, which is also incorporated into the company's logo. Wawa owns and operates convenience stores and gasoline stations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. These stores offer a fresh food selection under the Wawa brand including deli products, wraps, breakfast sandwiches, bakery products, fresh produce, and dairy products. The first Wawa store opened in April 1964 in Folsom, Pennsylvania.
