Rachel Preuit is a seasoned professional in the outdoor apparel industry, currently serving as a Senior Soft Goods Developer at WAYB since October 2023. Previously, Rachel held various roles at Black Diamond Equipment from February 2018 to October 2023, including Director of Apparel Development and Product Developer positions. Experience also includes working as a Product Developer and Associate Product Developer at Stio® and as an Apparel Development Assistant at Sierra Designs, where responsibilities involved technical outdoor apparel development. Academic background includes a Master of Science in Design and Merchandising from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Auburn University. Additional roles at organizations like Carry Gear Solutions and Melanzana provided further experience in design and product development, complemented by research and teaching roles during graduate studies.
