Amber Heaser

Amber Heaser is a seasoned professional in community health and wellness, currently serving as the Community Health Worker Manager II for Hampton Roads at Waymark since April 2023. Previously, Amber worked at the Virginia Department of Health from September 2020 to May 2023, holding positions as the Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Community Mobile Outreach Director and Community Testing Administrator focused on COVID-19 testing initiatives. Amber also gained significant experience as a Senior Account Executive at SARMA from October 2011 to August 2021, emphasizing customer service and business development. Prior roles include Health Promotion/Fitness Program Manager at MCCS Okinawa, HITT Director for MCCS Semper Fit, Health and Wellness Coordinator at Walgreens, and Health and Wellness Director at YMCA of Greater San Antonio. Amber holds a Bachelor of Education in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has pursued additional studies at Texas State University.
