Hardware Engineer- Compute Silicon at Waymo

Kaushik Kannan is a hardware engineer with extensive experience in compute silicon and microarchitecture design, currently employed at Waymo since July 2020. Prior to this role, Kaushik worked at Apple from November 2016 to July 2020, focusing on SoC memory subsystem microarchitecture and design, and at Intel Corporation as a graphics hardware engineer from July 2014 to November 2016, where the emphasis was on memory interface microarchitecture. Kaushik also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for courses in computer architecture and digital design and synthesis. Additionally, Kaushik has gained early experience through an internship at Intel and worked as a software consultant in quality assurance at ThoughtWorks. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from SSN College of Engineering.
