Leela Mohana Reddy Arava

Leela Mohana Reddy Arava currently serves as the Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies and a Professor in the College of Engineering at Wayne State University, a position held since August 2013. Previously, Leela worked as a Research Scientist at Rice University from June 2008 to August 2013, focusing on lithium-ion microbatteries and materials for sustainable energy solutions. Leela also gained experience as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Master of Science in Physics from Sri Venkateswara University.
